The Woman In Me - Susan Marie Gallion

Susan Marie Gallion

Susan Marie Gallion's song, The Woman In Me has won many a heart, and was even nominated for a Grammy Award. Though Susan wrote it, most folks got to know it through the voice of Crystal Gayle. Originally from Milwaukee, WI, she now calls Florida home. You can also find her on Facebook as OceanBirdMusic, and her music is on her Reverbnation page, on Soundcloud, or via Susan's YouTube channel.

Susan, I simply love your voice!  Oh, and please say 'Hello' to Flip for me too.  Tell him I said, "Tight Lines".  BTW, I have a sister by the same name as yours who lives in St Augustine.  She and her husband Dick Oyer live there together.  I had no idea that you penned this beautiful song!

I am looking forward to hearing more of your beautiful music.

A distant music connection from the late '70s brought Mark Helpsmeet and Song of the Soul into my life. Thanks to Mark's persistence, we were able to finally connect over the airwaves. I'm grateful for that! This program gathers together bits and pieces of my life, touching on those early days and including more recent years. In choosing these songs, I made sure that their personal messages remain authentic for me, in some way, even as the years might change the way I navigate through life. No matter what, I keep on writing songs. Thank you for being a listener!
