Cindy Yurth's vocational & spiritual journey can be an inspiration for everyone. From her time starting a literacy program in Utah with VISTA, to work in Liberia as part of the Peace Corps, and again in Africa, in Ghana, with the Society of African Missions (Catholic), Cindy has sought out world-healing work. Her work as a journalist includes some 17 years with the Navajo Times, and led to her book Exploring the Navajo Nation Chapter by Chapter (books one & two). And her current work as president of the Blackhat Humane Society, including support for pet adoption through PetFinder.com, speaks of her wide, deep, and constantly growing compassion.
Past/present religious/spiritual influences: Catholic, Quaker
